This is done to promote the anime medium and reach a larger audience.

This channel is launching in the U.S. on October 11th on LG Channels, The Roku Channel, VIZIO WatchFree+, and Amazon Freevee on October 17th.

What will be available on the Crunchyroll channel?

The Crunchyroll channel series available at launch include Horimiya, Ranking of Kings, Moriarty the Patriot, PSYCHO-PASS, Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, Sugar Apple Fairytale, To Your Eternity, and Code Geass.

These older shows will be programmed with English dubs on the network. The anime company plans to schedule other promotional, genre, and theme programming blocks to give viewers a sample of the wide range of their library. New anime series will remain available on Crunchyroll’s app and site.
