All one has to do is watch one episode of Bluey to be charmed by its delightful characters and world, and fans will soon get the chance to see that world on the big screen thanks to the anticipated Bluey Movie. Now fans can experience that world in a much more interactive way thanks to a brand new video game, and not only can you play the game co-op, but it features a special Grannies bonus mode.
Gameloft has revealed the first gameplay trailer for Bluey’s newest game, Bluey’s Happy Snaps, which allows up to 2 players to jump back into Bluey’s world on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. In Bluey’s Happy Snaps, players explore the world as Bluey and Bingo, using Dad’s old camera, to capture unique moments and assemble a personal scrapbook with the memories you discover. In Bluey’s Happy Snaps, players will recreate memorable moments and locations from the series, including New Farm Park (Spy Game), South Bank (Ice-Cream), and Mount Coot-tha (The Sign). You’ll also get to meet favorites like Muffin, Coco, Lucky, Winston, and the rest of the Bluey gang as you play taxi, chase chickens, and even reunite with the Grannies in a special bonus mode.
The New Bluey Video Game Was Designed by Parents
“Many of us who worked on developing BLUEY’S HAPPY SNAPS are parents ourselves, which is why we wanted to create a game that we could feel proud and comfortable playing with our own kids, one that encourages creativity,” says Manea Castet, Studio Manager at Gameloft Brisbane. “Between chasing bin chickens or playing a game of taxi using things lying around the house, we hope that the fun they find in the game inspires them to keep playing off-screen, stopping to take a closer look at the world around them.”

The standard digital edition will be $39.99 USD and will include the base game, while you can pre-order the Deluxe Digital Edition as well for $39.99 USD, which includes the “Here Come The Grannies” bonus content and extra dress-up items, with outfits for Bluey and Bingo. It will also include exclusive artwork from the making of the game, plus a physical limited-time Activity Book edition for $49.99, featuring 44 pages of drawing, activities, and sticker sheets.
