Since the debut of the Invincible comic book, Atom Eve, aka Samatha Eve Wilkins, has always been a favorite among fans. However, while she has always been popular, Gillian Jacobs take on the role in the Prime Video television series catapulted the character to new heights. There’s something inherently intriguing about a hero who can essentially create any type of matter their thoughts can conjure, and Atom Eve’s story of trauma and self-acceptance makes her all the more interesting.
While the titular character Invincible, aka Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), performs admirably as the series lead, Atom Eve shines every time she’s in the spotlight. In addition to her own special episode that depicts her origin outside of the regular Invincible programming, her popularity has also earned her her own video game.
In an exclusive interview with Agents of Fandom Editor-in-Chief TJ Zwarych, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman revealed that there is more Atom Eve-focused content in the works for the future.

“I’ll say yes (to more Atom Eve special content)! I think Atom Eve is a huge character for us. Gillian Jacobs’ portrayal of her has really brought that character to life in a lot of ways we couldn’t have anticipated. I think that you’ll see her to be an absolutely integral part of the series, much more so as we get into this season, as we get into Season 4, and hopefully beyond. We will see her role solidify in some really interesting ways. But yeah, we love the Atom Eve character and you’ll be seeing absolutely as much of her as we can possibly muster.”–Invincible Creator Robert Kirkman on the future of Atom Eve
Whether it’s her own spinoff series, another special episode, or something in the video game world remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain: More Atom Eve content is coming. Fans of the Invincible comic are well aware of how much her role expands as the series continues, but it sounds as though there could be potential new stories from Eve’s perspective that have yet to be fully actualized in the books.
Atom Eve is set to be heavily featured in the currently airing season of Invincible, and much like the unfathomable potential of her powers, the character’s level of stardom with Gillian Jacobs at the helm is limitless.
