It’s NBA Finals season and PlayStation is jumping on the hype train! June includes the popular basketball game as part of their slate for the PlayStation Plus free games. The trio is a combination of sports, action, and adventure, which appeals to different gaming demographics. Let’s take a look at all the games PlayStation have made available for all tiers of PS Plus.
NBA 2K23
NBA 2K23 is a basketball game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. The buzz is wild among basketball fans, so Sony is using the game to keep the hype going leading into the NBA Finals. The visuals are nothing short of spectacular! As usual with all the NBA games, the MyCAREER mode is always a crowd pleaser. Here you can play against other players from around the world. You can also play MyNBA mode, where you can manage your own team! The possibilities are endless.
The first of the PlayStation Plus free games, NBA 2K23 is available for both PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Jurassic World Evolution 2
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a construction and management simulation game developed and published by Frontier Developments. The game is set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The player can construct a Jurassic World prehistoric theme park, with enclosures, aviaries, and lagoons. You also have to recruit staff, such as scientists and caretakers, to work in the various facilities. The best part? You can work alongside the iconic characters from the franchise, Dr. Ian Malcolm and Claire Dearing, voiced by the talented Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard.
The second of the PlayStation Plus free games, Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
Trek to Yomi
Trek to Yomi is an action game developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital. The game is set in feudal Japan between 1603-1867, and follows a young swordsman by the name of Hiroki. Hiroki’s mission is to enter Yomi—the Japanese underworld—to get vengeance after his village is burned to the ground. The cinematic visuals are one of the game’s best features, as the player acts as the lone samurai and works to fulfil his destiny. The game is loaded with joy and tragedy, so make sure to savor every moment.

When will the PlayStation Plus free games for June 2023 be available?
The June slate is set to release Tuesday, June 6, and PlayStation Plus members will be able to add these games to their catalog until Monday, July 3. Don’t forget to add the May PlayStation Plus free games if you have not already. The trio will exit the shop June 6, so what are you waiting for, get downloading!
It’s cool to see the June slate keeping with the diversification of gaming genre’s to cater to all players.
