Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Bad Batch Season 3, Episode 13.
The Bad Batch Season 3, Episode 13 is now streaming on Disney+, leaving only two installments to wrap up the story of Omega (Michelle Ang) and Clone Force 99 (Dee Bradley Baker). Episode 13 is perhaps the best in the series to date, with equal parts exciting clone action, and compelling exposition.
The third-to-last episode works perfectly by setting up an exhilarating final two parts but also not leaving out anything important or moving the timeline forward. The episode jumps back and forth between monitoring Omega on Tantiss and Clone Force 99’s journey to find her. Let’s dive into every little detail with our Bad Batch Season 3, Episode 13 recap.
Echo Rejoins His Old Friends in ‘The Bad Batch’ Season 3, Episode 13
The Bad Batch Season 3, Episode 13 opens with the kids in the vault on Tantiss telling Omega that the scientists don’t like when they talk to each other. Out on a sandy planet, Echo joins the rest of Clone Force 99 with a stolen ship full of supplies. Edmon Rampart (Noshir Dalal) tells the team the only way to get to Tantiss is by going to an orbital station over Coruscant.
They plan to act as a security escort while Rampart impersonates an Imperial officer. Back on Tantiss, Emerie comes to collect more blood samples from Omega, who then steals one of her tools when she isn’t looking. Dr. Scalder (Helen Sadler) tells her it’s unwise to let Omega socialize with the other kids, but as Chief Scientist, she insists it’s fine.
Omega tells the kids she’s escaped from the mountain before, and she plans to do it again, only this time she’s taking them with her. On the supply ship, Clone Force 99 strips their armor of unique markings, and Hunter, Crosshair, and Echo proceed into the base while Wrecker stays with the ship. A lieutenant stops and questions them, but Rampart summons his inner Imperial scoundrel and orders him away.
Omega Hatches a Dangerous Escape Plan
Continuing The Bad Batch Season 3, Episode 13, Rampart orders a pair of stormtroopers away from the door and enters the control room. A guard inside asks for their access card, and Hunter stuns him. Back at the ship, an officer questions Wrecker about the validity of the shuttle, and Wrecker incapacitates him.
The team discovers their only chance of making it to Tantiss is boarding a supply ship, but Rampart tells them security is too tight and they can’t all make it. They plan for Echo to board the ship, disable the proximity alert, and the crew will attach to the ship’s base and hitch a ride to Tantiss. Back on Tantiss, Omega sneaks into her room and removes several wall panels to look at the corridor inside.
Dr. Scalder checks on her in her room suspecting she’s up to something, but Omega has replaced the panels and is playing a game. On the space station, Echo sneaks aboard the shuttle using the droid tube and the rest of the team departs in their ship. Echo gets the sensors disabled just in time, and the episode ends as the shuttle attaches to the larger ship headed for Tantiss, and they make the jump to hyperspace.
