Ahsoka First Reactions Tease a Promising Star Wars Adventure

Star Wars’ latest Disney+ series is garnering huge praise from critics.

Now making an early debut on Disney+ on August 22nd, Star Wars latest series appears to tick all the boxes for early viewers. This is unquestionably one of the more anticipated Star Wars projects to date, as Dave Filoni now has the chance to adapt his beloved Rebels into live action. The Ahsoka first reactions hand out endless praise for its performances, score, spirit and more. Let’s take a look at some of them.

A love letter to ‘Star Wars: Rebels’ fans

Star Wars: Rebels is one of Star Wars’ highest acclaimed projects containing some of the franchise’s most beloved characters. Many Rebels fans were initially nervous about how their favorite animated characters would translate into live-action, but the Ahsoka first reactions appear extremely optimistic, praising Filoni’s dedication to perfecting these new variations.

Slow-paced…but worth it

Pacing has perhaps been one of Star Wars’ biggest struggles in recent projects, however, the leisurely unfolding of plot points is often overshadowed by the looming monumental moments. The Ahsoka first reactions point to the fact that the series will follow this same pattern.

Ahsoka first reactions confirm unsurprisingly excellent performances

Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wren, respectively, are the hot topics of conversation in all Ahsoka first reactions. Their interpretations of Hera and Sabine are deemed as “perfect” and described as “capturing [Hera and Sabine’s] spirit while making [them] their own.”

Knocking it out of the park

Ahsoka’s antagonists are also receiving endlessly positive reactions. Ivanna Sakhno and Ray Stevenson are being praised for their performances as Shin Hati and Baylan Skoll, respectively.

Kevin Kiner’s score is delightful

Kevin Kiner’s score immediately sets the tone for Ahsoka and carries an incredible ambience throughout each episode. Star Wars has delivered one phenomenal score after the other in their previous series’, and Ahsoka appears to be no different.
