All ‘The Marvels’ Posters Are Out of This World

The Marvels are going higher, further, faster, together in these new posters.

The final Marvel Studios film of 2023 is on the horizon and taking viewers across the stars — as shown in all the promotional material, especially with these The Marvels posters. The sequel from Nia DaCosta is going higher, further, and faster as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is (reluctantly) working together with MCU Phase 4 favorite characters, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani). While we won’t see the Avengers team up for quite some time, this collaboration will help scratch that itch for Marvel fans.

Reception has been shaky for Phase 5 with mixed opinions of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Secret Invasion among others, while other projects like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Loki Season 2 have received positive fanfare. But viewers are looking forward to the fun and wild cosmic story teased in The Marvels, and these posters only increase the excitement to the moon and back.

The very first The Marvels poster revealed the film was pushed back from its July 2023 release date, but fans couldn’t be upset after seeing how radiant this promo image looked.

The second poster for The Marvels accompanied the teaser, giving fans an idea of what to expect from the film. The superpowered trio is standing tall with Nick Fury back in action post-Secret Invasion, and a litter of flerkens joining the fight.

Marvel Studios’ Director of Visual Development Andy Park revealed this concept art poster for The Marvels at San Diego Comic Con 2023, where he discussed his legacy of design work for the MCU. Park described Carol’s new look as “a little more relaxed. She’s rolled up her sleeves and it’s not as soldier-y/armor-y as it was before [in previous films].”

After reports Dune 2 would receive an exclusive run at IMAX theaters for five to six weeks starting November 3, 2023, Marvel fans were worried that the team-up between Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan would miss out on the special screening format. But with the delay of the Dune sequel, Marvel Studios officially confirmed The Marvels would be flying onto IMAX screens with this poster.

New additions Park Seo-joon and Zawe Ashton make their first appearance on a poster for The Marvels released for international markets. While it’s great to see their respective characters making it into the promotional artwork, the floating head/body composition isn’t the most creative of all The Marvels posters shown so far.

To celebrate the film being a month away from release, Marvel Studios released four new posters and opened pre-sale tickets for their final 2023 film. This IMAX poster is similar to the first one, shown further above, with the titular trio’s glowing energy and similar light-based abilities.

The Marvels will be available to screen in Dolby Cinema theaters, which are known for their immersive audio, visual, and voice technologies. This experience promises to be higher and further on the scale for movie screening formats.

Surround Yourself With ‘The Marvels’ in Screen X

The Marvels Screen X poster is very reminiscent of the second poster released but with a more close-up look at the characters and a blending of the titular trio’s logos. Also, the litter of flerkens looks more ominous than cute in this promotional image. Let’s hope Goose and friends don’t take a dark turn in this film.

The Marvels Become One in This RealD 3D Poster

The Marvels RealD 3D poster is not only visually stunning, but it also embodies the film’s premise by showing the trio’s connection to one another due to their light-based powers. While viewers will have to wait and see what causes the heroes to switch places whenever they use their powers, this poster is arguably one of the best of the bunch.

When Is ‘The Marvels’ Release Date?

The third and final 2023 MCU film is set to land in theaters on November 10, 2023, after significant delays and shake-ups. Fans have waited long enough to see Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan again after WandaVision and Ms. Marvel, respectively, and watching these characters make the jump from a Disney+ series to the big screen is monumental.
